Live Nation is selling $ 20 all-in concert tickets to recover from the pandemic

You don’t have to be a seasoned institutional investor to know Live Nation has had a hot year.

The company’s financial status has taken a blow, thanks to the pandemic lockdowns that are undermining its ability to host concerts (and sell tickets).

The bare facts: In the 15 months to the end of March 2021, Live Nation sales (across all business units) fell by a head-bowing figure of $ 10.76 billion year over year.

Live Nation boss Michael Rapino’s optimism remains unbroken. In May, he said Live Nation is “confident about our reopenings, especially for outdoor shows” in the US.

That plan moved into higher gear today (July 22nd) when Live Nation announced a series of new $ 20 all-in ticket prices for outdoor amphitheater shows in the United States this year.

The $ 20 tickets will be available for nearly 1,000 shows under the Return To Live banner in more than 40 Live Nation amphitheatres across the United States.

For a limited time only, fans can purchase $ 20 tickets to participating shows next week “while supplies last.” The price includes taxes and fees.

Artists playing shows under the $ 20 ticket offer include the Jonas Brothers, Kings Of Leon, Zac Brown Band, Trippie Redd, Maroon 5, Alanis Morissette, Lil Baby, KISS, and Korn.

“We can’t wait to get back on the road and in front of our fans it means so much to be able to bring live music back to the people who support us the most,” said the Jonas Brothers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to hit the streets again,” said Zac Brown. “It’s been a long, difficult year for everyone and we’re eager to reunite with our crew, share new music with our fans and celebrate a brand new world.”

The $ 20 tickets will be available to the general public for a limited time starting Wednesday, July 28th at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT on LiveNation.com.

Starting Tuesday, July 27 at 12:00 PM ET / 9:00 AM PT, T-Mobile and Sprint customers will have exclusive 24-hour advance access to all-in tickets worth Receive $ 20.
