Smart ways to promote your startup

Like it or not, social media is here to stay and one of the most reliable ways to be out there. Where else can you go to the infosphere where you already have a ton of people ready to support your endeavors? You can bet their networks are yours. You are wasting a massive and free marketing opportunity if you don’t.

Talk to the professionals. Money spent now is often money earned later. Think of untapped markets and increase the loyalty to your existing customers. Get your blog going

Email marketing is another way to get the word out about your new business. In fact, it’s up to 40 times more effective than social media. Any company that relies on a high profile for its products and services and wants to turn website-lurkers into customers will tell you that the cornerstone of good branding is email.

First, there’s nothing stopping you from being extra creative, be it with newsletters, sharing company developments, or just letting people know you’ve added a new blog post. The ways you can be creative with the design and delivery of your emails are honestly pretty much limitless.

Furthermore, using email marketing doesn’t mean you can’t align your strategies with social media. Using one alongside the other will grow your network – an increase in the number of people on your mailing list will likely lead to an increase in the number of your social media followers, and vice versa.
