Warner Chappell Music has appointed Michael LoBiondo as Head of Business Development.
In his new position as Head of Business Development, Warner Chappell says LoBiondo will “identify and execute acquisitions and partnerships for the publisher’s frontline songwriters and iconic repertoire of songs.”
LoBiondo will be based in Los Angeles and report to Guy Moot, Co-Chairman and CEO, and David Woirhaye, EVP and Global CFO.
LoBiondo most recently worked at mtheory, a music and artist development company for artists such as Major Lazer, A $ AP Rocky, 21 Piloten, Flume, The Head And The Heart and others.
Before joining mtheory, LoBiondo was Senior Director at Warner Records and Warner Music Group for several years. While there, he supported a variety of his business development and digital initiatives, including the acquisition of the Parlophone Label Group.
LoBiondo began his career in New York as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and then was Associate Director of Finance at the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation.
