Red Bull Records has added two new executives to its leadership team.
Nikki Cox will serve as the label’s chief marketing officer and lead the company’s marketing, digital, advertising and streaming efforts.

This year the label is releasing several new projects from up-and-coming hip-hop artist Blxst, gold-certified rock band Beartooth, alt-pop quartet The Aces, indie-singer-songwriter Gavin Haley and sad Alex, rapper PineappleCITI and others.
With two decades of experience in music and entertainment, Cox was previously vice president of global commercial marketing and international marketing for Capitol Records.
She was also Head of Promotions & Publicity at EMI Music Australia before moving to Los Angeles in 2014.
Whitby-Grubb has a twenty year career in artist management and creative production, developing creative campaigns and concepts for clients including Interscope Records, Atlantic Records, Capitol Records and various artists.

Cox and Whitby-Grubb join the Red Bull Records executive team and will oversee the marketing and creative departments and report to CEO Greg Hammer.
The executive team is rounded off by Kenny “Tick” Salcido (Senior Vice President / Head of A&R), who has been responsible for leading A&R efforts and building the list of artists for several years.
Salcido worked in different genres and began his career with the Beastie Boys label Grand Royal Records. He later moved to Warner Records, where he signed multi-platinum artist Wiz Khalifa as well as 3x Grammy-winning nominated artist and producer and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin.
Kamruz Mohager, who works as Controller, Finance, started his career at CAA and was a Staff Accountant at Live Nation and The Jim Henson Company before becoming Financial Controller at Mark Cuban’s Wagner-Cuban Group. Most recently, he was US financial controller at YMU Management.
Peter Torres (Vice President, Operations) is an industry veteran with a career spanning 25 years who has held senior positions in A&R, songwriting, artist and producer management, and label operations.
Most recently, Torres was General Manager of Mind of a Genius Records, where he was responsible for overseeing the label’s global business affairs.
“After two decades in the industry, I am excited about the opportunity to join an independent company with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of Red Bull Records.”
Cox said, “After two decades in the industry, I am excited about the opportunity to join an independent company with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of Red Bull Records.
“I look forward to helping our employees achieve their dreams and our artists to achieve their vision.
“This is really an artist-centric company where the possibilities are endless and the future is bright. Many thanks to Greg Hammer and Red Bull Records for giving me this opportunity. “
“As an independent record label first performing and taking on the non-traditional, joining Red Bull Records was a dream opportunity as a creative entrepreneur.”
Whitby-Grubb added, “I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with incredible talent and labels as an artist manager and business owner for the past twenty years, but I’ve always avoided working in-house at a traditional label.
“As an independent record label first to appear and committed to the non-traditional, joining Red Bull Records was a dream opportunity as a creative entrepreneur.
“I hope my experience of working with artists will fuel both our existing roster and future contracts as we build an in-house creative department dedicated to enhancing the vision, innovation and entrepreneurial voices of our artists.”
“These are two incredible leaders who bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to their respective roles and help develop and lead the careers of our diverse cadre.”
Hammer added: “We are excited to bring the depth of experience of Nikki and Storme to our team at Red Bull Records.
“These are two incredible leaders who bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to their respective roles, helping to develop and lead the careers of our diverse cadre.
