11 recruiting solutions to improve your hiring process

As with many other areas of corporate governance, technology has provided executives with the tools that can make recruiting a much easier process. Today’s technology can help collect and sort applications, offer communication tools to ensure recruiters have a safe place to talk to their prospects, and many of them even offer contract services that can expedite onboarding.

With so many options, however, not everyone is necessarily familiar with these recruiting tools. Below, 11 members of the Young Entrepreneur Council discuss the most valuable software and solutions they use in their recruiting processes and why these tools help bring the right talent into their company.

1. An applicant tracking system

An applicant tracking system (ATS) is a recruiting solution that can vastly improve the hiring process for your company. 2. BambooHR

We use BambooHR because it has a platform that can be used to manage different stages of the hiring process. It’s also a great HR management tool with an easy-to-use interface. 3. Indeed

I would indeed recommend it. The online tests and the ability to filter applicants are perfect for us. Plus, you can chat instantly and, depending on your location and other options, have a better chance of being seen by applicants. – Daisy Jing, banish

4. LinkedIn Recruiter

I like to use LinkedIn. With LinkedIn alone, I can find the mutual contacts, educational information, work experience and recommendations of the potential employee. The LinkedIn Recruiter feature is especially helpful when I dig deeper into their background and also look for recommendations. 5. Recruiter box

Recruiterbox is a web-based recruiting software solution that small and medium-sized businesses can use to manage their processes. It contains the tools you need to automate the hiring process and select qualified candidates for your company. – Jared Atchison, WPForms

6. SignalHire

I’m a fan of SignalHire, a social profile aggregator that collects public data from applicants across social media, GitHub, and other professional websites. When looking for a candidate, all publicly available data, including education level and work experience, is displayed and readily available from any device. – Tyler Gallagher, Regal Assets

7. Spark Hire

Long before the pandemic, our company used Spark Hire to conduct remote video interviews. This software allowed us to interview candidates from all over the country, but it still felt like we were gaining the traditional interviewing experience. 8. Actionable

Workable works well for us. Navigation is easy and incredibly effective thanks to all of the third-party integrations. One software or online program that we found particularly useful is Zoho Recruit.
