The play-along rhythm game was developed in collaboration with Universal Music Group, Hollywood Records, and developed for brands by Gameloft.

Gameloft is owned by UMG parent company Vivendi, which completed the takeover of the company in June 2016.

Queen’s music has featured in major mobile music games, but Queen: Rock Tour is the band’s first official game.

Queen: Rock Tour allows users to “immerse themselves in the world of Queen,” according to a publication.

Players progress through the game and earn points by playing 20 of the band’s most popular hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Free Myself, and We Are The Champions as they perform at 10 historic concert venues from around the world.

Players can also design the in-game performances with over 40 costumes from the band’s history.

You can also unlock trivia and exclusive images from the Queen’s official archives by getting high scores in the game.

The arrival of the play-along rhythm game marks an important milestone for Queen. It has been 50 years since John Deacon was recruited in 1971, completing the classic line-up for Queen.

A 29-day European stadium and arena tour planned for this year has been postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic.
