Top Indian crypto exchange users report seeing ‘0’ funds during a failure

The major Indian crypto exchange WazirX had more than four hours of disruption due to system failures on Sunday.

In a tweet at 17:24 UTC, WazirX CEO Nischal Shetty reported that the crypto exchange has “reached some internal limits” set by one of the infrastructure providers. The load on the Wazir system reportedly caused “a ripple effect on all services,” leading some of the exchange’s 1.8 million users to say they saw no money in their accounts during the outage.
