Compass brings Tye Stockton, Vail Agent # 1, with them

Stockton and his team of five have moved from Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty to Compass, the broker announced on Thursday.

Tye Stockton, the No. 1 agent in Vail, Colorado, and his team of five are joining Compass, the broker said Thursday. Previously, Stockton was with Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty for approximately 11 years.

The addition of Stockton and his team will allow Compass to build a presence in Vail that builds on existing operations in the state of Colorado, where the agent currently has offices in Denver, Boulder, Aspen and Telluride.

The luxury broker founded The Stockton Group in 2014 and since then the team has had sales of more than $ 855 million. In 2020 alone, the group had sales of over $ 270 million. In Real Trends + Tom Ferry’s latest ranking “The Thousand”, the team received the No. 25 ranking for small teams based on sales volume.

“Where I see my business going is in line with Compass’ vision to support its world-class network of top agents with cutting-edge, proprietary technology and tools,” Stockton said in a statement. “I look forward to leveraging the Compass infrastructure that is already in place to spend more time with my customers, align my team for success, and grow my business to new milestones.”

Over the course of his career, Stockton has completed transactions valued at more than $ 1.5 billion. In 2020, he represented several record sales, including the sale of 375 Mill Creek Circle for $ 24 million, which he later surpassed with sales of 99 and 100 Vail Road for $ 57.25 million.

“It is an absolute honor to be part of Compass for Tye and The Stockton Group,” said Danielle Wilkie, president of Compass’ corporate division, in a statement. “Moving from Tye to Compass expands our world-class network of agents in Colorado and across the country. I look forward to accelerating Tye’s business with the Compass technology platform and support, and to working with him on innovations related to the real estate experience in the Vail Valley and beyond. “

The brokerage has steadily expanded its presence in Colorado over the past few years, starting in Aspen in April 2016 and in Telluride in October 2018.

Stockton’s recruitment follows another well-known luxury real estate agent, Tomer Fridman, and his team, who are returning to Compass after a brief stint at Hilton & Hyland.
